Miss Hikari had been a former student at the academy and took up the job about 5 years after she had graduated, meaning she has a vast knowledge of the school and its secrets as well as the secrets of others. Being the culinary teacher, she has a fine taste and will always put her students' wellbeing before anything else. However, those who get on her bad side are known to get in "unfortunate accidents" with mysterious magic and no evidence is ever able to be gathered on who did it. She prefers to be called Miss Hikari instead of Miss Kagome for unknown reasons.
